How You Are Protected

We take looking after your information very seriously. We’ve implemented appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we have under our control, both on and off-line, from improper access, use, alteration, destruction and loss. Unfortunately the transmission of information using the internet is not completely secure. The law states we must have one or more of these reasons:

  • To fulfil a contract we have with you, or
  • When it is our legal duty, or
  • When it is in our legitimate interest, or
  • When you consent to it.

 A legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your information. But even then, it must not unfairly go against what is right and best for you. Furthermore your personal data is protected by legal rights including:

  • object to our processing of your personal data;
  • request that your personal data is erased or corrected;
  • request access to your personal data.
